mswordtemplateThere are people who sometimes just blow up their interview. It might be that they forget not to say anything negative about their past work experience perhaps, even if their last boss was the worst on earth. Or perhaps because the question given were just so hard to answer.

However, there are also people who are just so good that we want them to come for the second interview. For that reason, we would need to write an invitation letter. Below is a microsoft word letter template for interview invitation.

No law requires you to tell applicants anything when you reject them. But it’s better to be prapared. If an applicant asks you why you did not hire him or her, say something politely vague. Here are some examples:

  • “As you can imagine, we had a number of applicants for this job. We will keep your application on file. Thanks for applying.”
  • “We had to choose among a number of applicants. Thanks for applying. We’ll keep your application on file.”
