The Case:
You frequently use zooming option when working with MS Office documents. Even a tune up on this simple zooming function can actually make your work more efficient. Is there any tips for it, so you say.
Tune Up:
If you prefer using shortcuts rather than mouse, then stroke combination Alt-v and then z with your left hand could efficiently do the job. It’s a lot faster than using mouse to navigate on the menu. This simple keystroke can work even on MS Office 2007. Even if this is not the official key sequence for zooming function on Office 2007; but it’s still work.
If you prefer using mouse than keyboard, then I also have tips for you. You can scroll on your mouse to zoom ini and out of documents quickly. Just hold down the Ctrl key and rool the scroll wheel forward to get a closer view of the document or roll back to shrink it. If you are using MS Office 2007, you can see there is a zoom slider in the lower right of the workspace. This small feature is quite intuitive; just give it a try.
FYI, this tips is also apply for Microsoft Excel.
By the way, your zooming intention is solely for reading, then might need to try the Full Screen Reading view. This view is optimized for reading a document on the computer screen.
